Variety, The Children's Charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of children with special needs.
Variety provides grants to individuals and organisations for a great number of items such as special wheelchairs, vocal output speech devices, prosthetic limbs, special play equipment and liberty swings.
Variety give grants to hospitals and have provided over 1,200 Sunshine Coaches to special schools and organisations.
Variety raises funds from a number of sources, from donations to corporate partnerships, to events such as their annual Bash - with over $125 million net raised in the last 25 years to help Australia’s sick, disadvantaged and disabled children.
NSW B to B Bash…. ASF is a long term supporter of Variety NSW through entry and sponsorship of their annual B to B Bash fundraiser. Together with a major client, ASF’s “Team Bushranger” enters a 1969 Ford F100 and 1970 Ford Fairlane into this annual motoring rally – travelling up to 7,000 kms over a 10-12 day period each August throughout outback Australia.
With over $200,000 raised from client and bank sponsors in recent years and donated by Team Bushranger to Variety NSW, we remain a committed supporter of this exceedingly important charity.
ASF and its directors have remained long term supporters of the National Trust of Australia – even opening one of our homes to this wonderful Charity for fund raising activities

In April 2009, some 600 National Trust members and friends visited “Hazeldean” in Wahroonga as part of the National Trusts open house program.
Built in 1898 as a Guesthouse on Sydney’s North Shore, and having undergone a heritage award winning restoration, Hazeldean is a 35 room Queen Anne Style home sitting on nearly an acre of formal gardens.
ASF’s offices, purchased by Directors in 1996 are also located within a significant 1893 heritage building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD precinct.
Abbotsleigh School was established in 1885 and remains one of Australia’s leading girl’s schools in terms of academic achievement, pastoral care and community engagement.
